Brandon is the heart, hustle, and humor behind OPPA! As the founder and Executive Director, he’s been steering the ship since day one—building a vibrant community where creativity and connection take center stage. With degrees in Technical Theatre Management and a resume that includes Cirque du Soleil, Broadway stars, and an almost alarming amount of spreadsheets, Brandon blends artistic vision with strategic brilliance.
He’s a master of big dreams, quick wit, and bringing people together. Whether he's designing a set, managing a production, or giving a rousing speech about the power of belonging, Brandon leads with compassion, transparency, and just the right amount of sarcasm.
His love for theatre started young, but it’s the community that keeps him going. Brandon believes theatre changes people, and people change the world. OPPA! is proof.
Also, fun fact: he’s probably writing a musical in his head while you’re reading this.

Ashley Ramsey is the creative force behind OPPA!’s ever-expanding education program—and we’re not just talking about jazz hands (though hers are excellent). With over 20 years of experience teaching performing arts to everyone from toddlers to adults, she’s passionate about using theatre to help students thrive both on and off the stage.
Ashley holds a BS in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Acting and Directing from Utah Valley University, and she brings a wealth of knowledge, heart, and flair to every class and production. She joined OPPA! after choreographing a summer show and falling in love with the energy, talent, and tight-knit community.
Her journey started at age eight, but it was a high school dance teacher who unlocked her true calling: storytelling through movement and emotion. Since then, Ashley has dedicated her life to lifting others through the arts. She believes theatre teaches us to feel, to listen, and to understand each other—because our humanity lives in the arts.
Oh—and she’s allergic to elephants. So please keep the stampedes to a minimum.

As a self-taught tech wizard with a flair for the unconventional, they offer a unique perspective in every production. When not wrangling cue sheets, their collecting coffins (yes, really—they own three!). Theatre helped them break out of their shell as a child, and they've been chasing the spotlight (or operating it) ever since.

With 25+ years of stitching experience and a heart that beats for beautiful stagewear, she joined OPPA! to make people’s lives a little brighter—one costume at a time. She loves storytelling, singing, and dreams of strumming a guitar. Amanda’s journey to the stage started in her 30s when her daughter roped her into auditioning. She ended up cast and never looked back!

Sarah’s journey with OPPA! started thanks to a Facebook scroll and a son who wasn’t too keen on football. Since choosing Newsies over touchdowns, her entire family has become deeply involved, even taking the stage together in Mary Poppins. Sarah’s journey with OPPA! started thanks to a Facebook scroll and a son who wasn’t too keen on football. Since choosing Newsies over touchdowns, her entire family has become deeply involved, even taking the stage together in Mary Poppins. With a background in hiring and training for a large nonprofit, and a soon-to-be Master’s degree in Management and Leadership, Sarah brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of mom-energy to the board. Her favorite OPPA! memory? Building sets and performing alongside her kids. Fun fact: she’s spent countless hours making meals no one eats and washing laundry she never wore.

Chris brings both passion and project management to the OPPA! board. When he’s not juggling aerospace programs, he’s likely humming showtunes or prepping a scene. Inspired by a transformative viewing of Aida, Chris jumped into his first show (The Addams Family) and hasn’t looked back. Bonus fact: he performs completely blind (well, almost—no glasses onstage!).

Halee joined OPPA! to support the dream of someone close to her—but stayed because she’s a rockstar in the arts world. She’s the Assistant Technical Director and Scenic Charge Artist at the University of Utah and a resident set designer at The Grand Theatre. With more than 10 ocean-themed tattoos and an allergy to cubicles, Halee is all in on creativity and out on conformity.

Erin found her way to OPPA! through her children—but quickly realized it was a place where the whole family could belong. Watching her kids grow in confidence, creativity, and purpose inspired her to give back to the theatre that gave them so much. Now she serves on the board, helping ensure that magic reaches even more families.

Watching her kids grow in confidence, creativity, and purpose inspired her to give back to the theatre that gave them so much. Now she serves on the board, helping ensure that magic reaches even more families.
She’s been involved in community theatre since age 13 (shoutout to her debut as “the old lady in the wheelchair” in Bye Bye Birdie), and she’s never quite shaken the joy of turning nothing into something on stage. After a 15-year break from performing, she made her long-awaited return in 2024—right here at OPPA!—and it reminded her just how much theatre feeds the soul.
Fun fact: One of Erin’s very first jobs was as a puppet maker. Yep—she’s been creating characters in every form for a long time.
