Main Stage

Our main stage productions bring the magic of live theatre to life with heart, humor, and a whole lot of talent. These full-scale community theatre shows feature incredible local performers and offer something unforgettable for audiences of all ages.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Dates: Sept. 19 - Oct. 4

Synopsis:
Join Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang in this charming, feel-good musical full of laughs, heart, and everyday adventures. With catchy songs and timeless characters, this show reminds us that happiness is found in life’s simple moments.

Our Rating: 🧢 Family-Friendly (Recommended for all ages)

Little Shop of Horrors

Dates: October 24 – November 15, 2025
Synopsis:
A down-on-his-luck floral assistant discovers a mysterious plant with a taste for fame, fortune… and human blood. As the plant grows, so does the chaos, leading Seymour down a darkly hilarious path full of catchy tunes, quirky characters, and outrageous twists. 

Our Rating: PG-13 (Stylized violence and dark humor, recommended for teens and up)

Creator's Stage

Our Creator’s Stage offers a more intimate, up-close theatre experience—where every seat feels like the front row. This unique space allows us to produce bold, meaningful shows rarely seen in Davis County, giving artists and audiences a chance to connect in powerful new ways.

Steel Magnolias

Dates: Nov. 14 - Dec. 6

Synopsis:
In a small-town beauty salon, six Southern women share laughter, tears, and everything in between. Steel Magnolias is a heartfelt and humorous look at friendship, resilience, and the strength it takes to face life’s ups and downs—with hairspray and heart.

Our Rating: 💐 PG-13 (Emotional themes and mild language)

🎨 Grab your pencils, paints, and imagination—it’s time to see yourself in cartoon form! Join us on Saturday, September 13th from 1:00–3:00 PM at OPPA! for the very first event in our brand-new Creating Together: Art & Community at OPPA! series. This month, we’re diving into the colorful world of cartoons, where you’ll draw, color, and paint yourself as a cartoon character and create a comic strip.

September 20 – Improv for the Actor: Improvisation for Confidence

High-energy games and exercises designed to sharpen quick thinking, build teamwork, and encourage risk-taking in a safe space. Participants will explore how to fully inhabit their characters in the moment—listening actively, responding truthfully, and committing to choices—so they can stay present and engaged no matter where the scene goes.

For our September kickoff, we’re diving into Qui Nguyen’s hilarious and heartfelt play, She Kills Monsters. Packed with 90s pop culture, wild Dungeons & Dragons adventures, and touching moments of self-discovery, this story invites you into a world where epic battles meet heartfelt connections. We’ll read short scenes aloud (no acting experience needed), share thoughts, and discuss its themes.
