Gabriel Barrett has just over 5 years of dancing under his belt. He started out as a competition dancer, training in jazz, contemporary, lyrical and ballroom dance. Shortly after he moved to Clytie Adams School of Ballet where he trained for a year and a half and performed in their Nutcracker dancing the role of the Nutcracker Prince. He then transferred to Ballet West Academy and was invited to join their Professional Training Division with a merit scholarship. During his time at Ballet West he has danced the parts of Wheat Pas Corps in Copellia, Corps de Ballet in Les Vespres and second male variation in Les Vespres. He has had the fortunate opportunity of training under Jeff Rodgers, Evelyn Cisneros, and Jim Payne. Gabriel has attended the Ballet West Summer intensive 2022 and the Oklahoma City Ballet Summer Intensive with a merit scholarship. During his time there he received training from Racheal Nye, Olivier Munoz and Ryan Nye. He has been invited to return to Clytie Adams as a guest performer in their Nutcracker dancing the role of the Nutcracker Prince as well as being invited to North Star Ballet to guest as their Nutcracker Prince, Spanish Soloist, and Russian Soloist.
Tyson has been dancing for 15+ years, and has been teaching for 6 years. He trained with The Pointe dance academy, specializing in jazz and hip-hop. Later, he joined Utah Copa, training in tap, musical theater, modern dance, and dance improvisation. Now, Tyson specializes in musical theater, and has participated in dozens of productions across Utah and Salt Lake Counties at Hale Center Theater, West Valley Arts, Lehi Arts Council, Covey Center for the Arts, and OPPA. In addition, he held a position at Walt Disney World Resort as a Character Performer, and helped teach Disney audition clinics to high schoolers across the country. Tyson's experience also includes directing and choreographing multiple productions for Utah Valley Arts, and has choreographed for Backstage Performing Arts, The Scera, and multiple high school and jr high school productions.

Amberly has enjoyed teaching here at OPPA! She has been tapping for over a decade, and loves to share her knowledge with others. She loves choreographing and her dream is to choreograph Singing in the Rain. When she isn’t tapping, Amberly enjoys knitting, cooking, the outdoors, and theatre (recently playing Joanna in Sweeney Todd and Officer Brophy in Arsenic and Old Lace).
